| Here's a new addition to the TST website. Not quite a blog, it's more of a way to show updates especially to current customers. 3/7/10- I finished the Tim Braslavsky Custom.... A six pack of 6550's means headroom city. This thing is clean to 160W and clips hard right at 200W. It's possible to get 200W from a quad but I didn't want to run them that hard. The other advantage is the plates are running right at 500V so you could substitute 6L6GC's KT66's KT88's KT77's in a pinch. You need to run them closer to 700V to get 200W out of a quad. I hate running stuff that hard.......He's going to shit when he hears this thing....actually the people immediately in front of the cab this thing is driving will shit when it knocks their colon loose.... . |
